Guide Logs

An important part of certification is maintaing a log of experience. The SKGABC asks certified guides to submit copies of their logged days on an annual basis.

Log Forms

Logs can be submitted in 'electronic' version.

Electronic Spreadsheet

This user-friendly spreadsheet can be quickly and easily completed. The spreadsheet makes it easy to keep track of multiple years of guiding, both for your own records and also for accumulating experience days for a next-level exam. It tracks guiding, personal, and professional development days, as well as your days of experience in each class of water.

Take a moment to familiarize yourself with the document. Along the bottom you will see one sheet for each calendar year, plus the very first "Master" sheet which calculates everything for you.

Click on one of the years' sheets to add your entries for that year, and they will automatically be added to the Master sheet. The sheet for the year "2020" has some examples for you - make sure you delete them after so they don't skew your numbers!

If you would like a Log spreadsheet that has individual sheets for years before 2009, you may request one from info@skgabc.com

    To Download:

  • Right click on link
  • Select 'Save Link As'
  • Download to computer

Completed logs can be submitted to info@skgabc.com Please rename your file with the date it is current to:
    Lastname, Firstname - Logs - Master - YYYY-MM-DD.xls
