The Fall Guides Exchange in Telegraph Cove was blessed with incredible weather! Three days of sunny, flat calm seas, made for fantastic paddling conditions. Humpback Whales, Sealions, and good cheer made for another wonderful event! Thanks for everyone who attended.

The Johnstone Straight; one of the most vibrant kayaking destinations in British Columbia, hosts the Fall Guide Exchange! With Kingfisher Adventures, Discovery Expeditions, and North Island Kayaks, the fall exchange will help wrap the season up in style!

The area is alive alive with wildlife (Northern Resident Orca, Pacific Whiteside Dolphins, Humpback Whales, Stellar Sea Lions, Harbour Seals, Dalls Porpoise, and hundreds of birds! Combined with the dynamic currents of Weynton Passage and weather conditions it is an area every paddler should experience!

$75 - Includes camping fees, a number of meals, participation in activities, and door prizes!

All members are encouraged to come prepared to camp! Rain or shine, its part of the experience!
All camping costs are included as part of the exchange fee!

We will stay and base activities from the beautiful Telegraph Cove Campground! Nestled in a stand of old-growh forest, with a creek running through the site.


Lunch on Friday and Saturday, and Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday are included!
On Friday and Saturday night we strongly encourage dinner at the Killer Whale Cafe / Old Saltery Pub. Enjoy refreshments on Telegraph Coves historic waterfront dock!


As always, its best to BYOB (Bring Your Own Boat). There will be a few boats around for others to borrow. If you require a boat, please contact us:


The waters of the Johnstone Straight are extremly cold! To participate in the Rolling or Rescue sessions, immersion gear is required!


Activities will include:
